He started karate in junior high school because he wanted to become stronger.
After graduating from the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Physical Education, Nippon Sport Science University, retired from karate at the age of 32.
After retiring, in order to further study karate, he began learning various martial arts such as iaido, jujutsu, Japanese weapons techniques, and Chinese martial arts.
As I continue to train, I realize that many martial arts have points of contact.
He has devised ``Samurai Gymnastics,'' which is an original combination of various martial arts techniques such as martial arts, karate, ancient martial arts, climate, and jiu-jitsu, and is working to promote it to the local community, as well as focusing on training trainers.
Currently, he is based at Matsue Castle, a national treasure in Shimane Prefecture, and is engaged in activities to teach, demonstrate, and spread martial arts in Italy and other countries around the world.

"There is a word called "attraction".
Looking back on it now, even though I am from Fukuoka Prefecture and live in Shimane Prefecture, I was able to meet teachers who live in other prefectures on October 19, 2021. . I believe that I was truly blessed to have been taught by various martial arts teachers, which is rare even in Japan. Once again, I would like to thank the god of martial arts. When I was little, I was a child with asthma and was physically weak, and my mother often told me things like, ``A man must be strong,'' and ``A man must follow through on whatever he decides to do.'' Every time I thought, ``Men should be strong,'' I always felt sorry for myself and wondered how I could become stronger. Naturally, he admired strength, but one day he had a dream of joining a martial arts hall. In the room on the left of the dojo, people were breaking stones and doing kumite in karate, and in the room on the right, people were throwing and being thrown in judo. Then, when I became a junior high school student, my desire to learn karate, which was the dojo on the left in my dream, became stronger, so I decided to start martial arts (karate).
Fifty years have passed since then, and I have been taught martial arts by various teachers. After retiring from competitive karate at the age of 32, I started practicing various martial arts with the intention of researching karate, but each martial art has its own unique techniques and is very interesting. I was also impressed by the spirit and skill of the teachers who taught me, and before I knew it, I was learning deeply about each martial art. Then you will begin to see connections with other martial arts, and you will feel things like, ``This movement in karate is the same as that in that martial art,'' or ``This martial art and that martial art have similar movements, but the meaning of the technique is different.'' Became. I also began to see the strengths and weaknesses of each martial art. Then I realized that all martial arts have the same roots. That should be the case. Since it is performed using the human body, the physical manipulation that is the basis of movement is the same. If I were to compare the martial arts I learned to a tree, there would be a root called physical manipulation, from which the trunk of the tree (in my case, karate is the trunk) would grow, and from there branches (other martial arts) would grow sideways. It feels like it's happening. Since I have focused my research on karate, karate has become the trunk, and other martial arts, which are branches, have grown from the trunk. At this point, all martial arts became connected, and the practice of karate became the practice of other martial arts, and the practice of iajutsu began to become the practice of other martial arts.
